I received a scholarship from Vice President of Talent Recruitment at ESPN, and Emerson Alum Al Jaffee. I hear he is on the board here at Emerson and might be a great starting speaker if you can access him!

Carole Simpson is a Broadcast teacher here, but her cousin is Mike Wilbon from the show Pardon the Interruption. He would also be a great speaker I think… maybe a bit hard to access but it’s worth a shot!

One idea for consideration would be a sports agent. Maybe some of the local pros would help arrange something. Even better might be a panel with an agent and an owner’s rep. Good luck.

I guy from the Bruins PR department spoke at an EMCOMM Marketing Week event my freshman year. I forget his name but I’m sure someone remembers and we could get him back, he knew a lot.
